Alan Bahr

Welcome back to Gaming With Gage, your podcast for Roleplaying Games and the periphery!

Thanks for being here.

This week I have a lot going on so I’m going to keep this short and sweet.

I had the pleasure of sitting down with Alan Bahr, owner of Gallant Knight Games and the incredibly popular Tiny D6 system.

Alan was a wonderful guest and we got into game design philosophy and how mechanics can really capture the feel of a genre.

As always we ask that you rate and review the show on Apple Podcasts, Stitcher or wherever you listen.

Where's Agatha Session 2

Welcome back to Gaming with Gage, your podcast for Roleplaying Games and the Periphery.

Thanks for being here.

And welcome back to our Where’s Agatha Actual Play series! If this is your first time here I recommend you join our Discord, where we do all of our interviews, you can chat with the cast  and occasionally run online gaming sessions.

This is going to be session 2 of Where’s Agatha? our Savage Worlds game in the universe of our Who's Agatha? Actual Play from last season. This separate yet connected story follows a down and out police detective who gets mixed up with a Faerie searching for his sister in the strange and magical land of Boston. You can find both our session zero and session 1 on Our Website.

Last session Goathair was visited by an old friend, Jasper, who had a favor to hold over him. The request was simple. Find a woman with only a picture and a name, Agatha. The only complication being that Jasper last met this woman in 1885. After a preliminary investigation, all the clues pointed them to a number of local universities as well as a strange incident on Summer Street. As our heroes “hit the streets” they stumbled upon the last person Goathair would ever want to see, Arethusa Faerie Knight of the Air Kingdom.

Chris Hussey

Welcome back to Gaming with Gage, your podcast for Roleplaying Games and the Periphery.

Thanks for being here

And thank you so much for all of the feedback on the new Actual Play. APs were never part of the original show concept and it’s been so cool to see the interest in it grow. If you haven’t already, I recommend you join our Discord! The whole cast is there to chat with and answer any questions you might have. It’s also where we do all of our interviews and occasionally run online gaming sessions.

Speaking of interviews, this episode features guest Chris Hussey, Marshal and Editor of The Adventures of Young & Holt, a Deadlands Reloaded Actual Play podcast, and, if I may say so, a right sexy man. If it’s not already clear, aside from writing in the RPG industry for over 25 years, co hosting Fear The Boot and producing all manner of other content, Chris is also a friend of mine. If you aren’t already listening to The Adventures of Young & Holt check the show notes for a link to “The Tale So Far” so you can catch up.

Also, one of you kind listeners nominated us for Morrus’s Favorite RPG Podcasts of 2018.This was completely unexpected and heartwarming. If you’d like to vote for us or any of the other amazing shows in the poll, check out the link the show notes. You have until Tuesday, January 8th 2019.

Where's Agatha Session 1

Welcome back to Gaming with Gage, your podcast for Roleplaying Games and the Periphery.

Thanks for being here

And thank you for being here the launch of our brand new AP! If this is your first time here I recommend you join our Discord, where we do all of our interviews, you can chat with the cast  and occasionally run online gaming sessions.

This week is the beginning of Where’s Agatha? our Savage Worlds game in the universe of our Who's Agatha? Actual Play from last season. We’ve worked hard to make this series a connected but independent story from our Who’s Agatha? Actual Play so if this is your first episode, feel free to jump right in.  If you haven’t already listened to our Session Zero, that may be helpful.

Where’s Agatha? covers the story of a down and out police detective who gets mixed up with a Faerie searching for his sister in the strange and magical land of Boston. Throw in a Faerie Knight, a Mob Boss and a house cat or two and things just might get a little wicked.

As always we ask that you rate and review the show on Apple Podcasts, Stitcher or wherever you listen.

Eric Lamoureux

Welcome back to Gaming with Gage, your podcast for Roleplaying Games and the Periphery.

Thanks for being here

And thank you so much for all of the feedback from our Season Premiere. We’ve been working on it for a few months now and it’s been so heartening to see all of the support. If you haven’t already, I recommend you join our Discord, where we do all of our interviews, you can chat with the cast and we occasionally run online gaming sessions. I for one look forward to chatting with you.

This episode features guest Eric Lamoureux, Host of the The Wild Die Podcast and creator of Fuhgeddaboudit and the upcoming setting Wiseguys . Those of you who are fans of Savage Worlds are probably already familiar with Eric’s work but he is not only an excellent writer but a really creative problem solver.

Eric was a fantastic guest and can often be found on the Official Savage Worlds Facebook Group. While you’re there we’d love if you could hop over and like our Facebook page as well. We have so many amazing things planned for this season and we’d hate for you to miss out.

Where's Agatha Session Zero

Welcome back to Gaming with Gage, your podcast for Roleplaying Games and the Periphery.

Thanks for being here

And especially thank you for being here this week as we launch our third season! Doing this show has been such a pleasure for me and I’ve had the opportunity to make so many new friends. If this is your first time here I recommend you join our Discord, where we do all of our interviews and occasionally run online gaming sessions. I look forward to chatting with you.

If this isn’t your first visit, welcome back! This season has a slightly new format that I’m incredibly excited about. Each week we’ll be alternating between the interviews you know and love and an Actual Play we’ve working on called Where’s Agatha? which is a Savage Worlds game in the universe of our Who's Agatha? Actual Play from last season.

And that’s what this is, the Session Zero for Where’s Agatha? If you haven’t listened to Who’s Agatha I wouldn’t worry too much, we’ve worked hard to make this series a connected but independent story. In this Session Zero you’ll hear us working out the kind of story we want to tell as well the characters that Tom and Josh will be playing. Loyal listeners will remember Josh from our first season topic episodes.

Where’s Agatha covers the story of a down and out police detective who gets mixed up with a faerie searching for his sister in the strange and magical land of Boston. This was new recording set-up for us so we ask that you please lend us a little patience as we work it out.

As always we ask that you rate and review the show on Apple Podcasts, Stitcher or wherever you listen.

This episode features guest Clint Black, Brand Manager for the Core Rules at Pinnacle Entertainment Group. You’re probably already aware of the insanely successful Kickstarter that Pinnacle wrapped up last month but this interview was recorded before we knew what a wild ride that would be. We focused more on how Clint got into the hobby, his start at Pinnacle and the design philosophy that goes into creating Savage Worlds.

Clint was an amazing guest and we hope to have him back in the future. If you missed out on the Kickstarter, you’re obviously not following us on Facebook, but there’s still hope. If you visit PEGinc.com and sign up for their newsletter, you’ll be notified the moment the PDF of the new edition goes live and be invited to access the pledge manager. Don’t miss out.

Dan Repperger

Welcome back to Gaming With Gage, your podcast for roleplaying games and the periphery.

Thank you for being here!

This week I had the chance to sit down with Dan Repperger of Fear the Boot and it was awesome. We talked about names and the infamous Florida Man for most of the episode. We did get to some gaming topics. Dan’s Skies of Glasses setting is a super rich world and we dived into the way he builds sessions and his incredible session zero.

This is our second to last episode for season 2. It’s crazy to me that we’re already over 30 episodes in. I’m glad everyone seems to be enjoying the show and I’m having a blast doing it. Next week we’ll close out the season just as we did last season, with Who’s Agatha.

Tim Lanning

Welcome back to the Gaming With Gage, your podcast for roleplaying games and the periphery.

Thank you for being here!

This week I had the chance to sit down with Tim Lanning of Drunks and Dragons. We talked about Tim's introduction to roleplaying games and podcasting. Tim also let us know a bit about what's going on at Geekly, Inc. and GeeklyCon.

This was our second shot at an interview, as I lost the file from the previous chat and I wanted to take the time to thank Tim for being gracious enough to come back on. I also want to apologize for all The Last Jedi love that will now be lost to the annals of the internet.
